`Last season Man Utd ranked seventh and this is not the position for the biggest team in the world. It’s time for everyone to prove themselves,` Louis van Gaal frankly said in his first press conference in his position.
In his debut, Van Gaal revealed the reason he chose Man Utd when the team was going down.
`This is a big challenge and the reason I am at Man Utd. I have led Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, the number one teams in their countries, and now Man Utd, the number one team in the country.`
`I never miss challenges like this. I love work and this challenge is like a vacation,` Van Gaal implicitly explained why he did not rest after leading the Netherlands in the World Cup.

`The staff at the training area are like a family and I feel great. However, the training ground needs to be more private and I have requested a change. Currently the training ground is designed to be open and windy.
