Located near Two Guns is Apache Death Cave, a place known for its brutal past, associated with spirits and deadly curses.
Back in the 70s of the 19th century, the Apache raided the Navajo along the Little Colorado River to plunder food, property, murder and kidnap three girls.
Twenty-five strong Navajo men chased on horseback, but were no match for the Apache army.
The men of the Navajo tribe killed two Apache guards, then blocked the exit and piled firewood.
Apache Death Cave, where there are still bones of 42 Apache people who tragically died in the past.
The next morning, the Navajo entered the cave and took all of the Apache’s possessions away.
The natives told this to the white people to stay away from the haunted land.
Then the townspeople started complaining about the ghostly sounds they heard.
After being bought and sold many times, in 1960, Two Guns was owned by Ben Dreher.
Jimmy Solinger, the last person to take charge of Two Guns, committed suicide in 2000. Jimmy’s death continued the tragedies in the town. Today, the land is considered to be home to angry spirits.
