On the afternoon of May 2, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan worked with the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province after a new chain of infections appeared, starting from a group of Chinese experts who departed on April 29.
Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, announced that test results confirmed that 5 people in Vinh Phuc who were in contact with the Chinese expert group tested positive for nCoV.
All initial test samples of people in contact with Sunny bar, where the Chinese expert came, were negative for nCoV.
Sunny bar has nearly 70 employees and managers, located in an urban area in Phuc Yen City, with about 20 other karaoke bars.

Regarding the group of Chinese experts infected with Covid-19, today Yen Bai province has traced 8 F1;
In Lang Son, where the group of Chinese experts exited through Huu Nghi border gate, the authorities traced 2F1, 50 F2;
On the morning of May 2, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee, said that after entering Yen Bai, a group of 5 Chinese experts were quarantined at Nhu Nguyet 2 Hotel, Yen Bai City.
After completing the centralized quarantine, they were issued a certificate by the People’s Committee of Yen Bai City, handed over to the business to return to their place of residence, and continued to monitor their health for 14 days.
However, Yen Bai province authorities said that Central Bac A Mineral Joint Stock Company did not carry out the responsibility of transporting and managing the above experts according to regulations.
After returning to China through Huu Nghi border gate (Lang Son), one person in the group was tested by Chinese authorities and tested positive for nCoV on April 29.
