Professor Nguyen Ngoc Tu (35 years old) was appointed to the Board of Chairs of the leading international quantum conference IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering (QCE).
Researchers elected to the Conference President Board must be professionally excellent, have the ability to connect, and be active in activities to support the scientific community.
Professor Nguyen Ngoc Tu at Kennesaw State University’s Data Center.
Sharing with VnExpress, Professor Tu said that quantum technology promises a new era for computing systems, sensor technology and information security.
Current quantum techniques apply properties from quantum mechanics, especially the quantum entanglement properties of particles at the atomic level, into practical applications to develop quantum computers and sensors.
`This is the time for the young generation of Vietnam to join in to grasp the trend towards mastering this breakthrough technology,` he expected.
The QCE International Conference is an annual forum on quantum computing, bringing together experts, scientists, educators, businesses, and graduate students to exchange and share experiences, challenges, and conclusions.
The forum aims to exchange and share the latest research in quantum technology, while strengthening connections and cooperation between research groups and the world’s leading technology companies.
Professor Nguyen Ngoc Tu is a familiar face in the world quantum research community.
His research group focuses on researching and designing algorithms and models to increase the computing speed of computer systems while ensuring network security.
He is also a member of the editorial board of many international scientific journals in the ISI list of prestigious publishers such as IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer. Professor Tu is co-editor in chief of a series of books on
Professor Tu was born and raised in Ha Hoa, a midland and mountainous district of Phu Tho province.
