`Vietnam and China have a long-standing traditional relationship of friendship, built and nurtured by many generations of leaders and people of the two countries,` Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai said on October 10.
`The visit will certainly create more motivation to deepen and elevate the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership,` the Ambassador emphasized.
The state visit will take place on December 12-13, marking the third time Mr. Xi Jinping has visited Vietnam as General Secretary and President of China.
`Inheriting the tradition of friendship and practice between the two sides, the Party, State and people of Vietnam attach great importance to the visit and will give General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping a special welcome,

Talking about the most impressive highlight in Vietnam – China relations recently, Ambassador Pham Sao Mai affirmed that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s official visit to China in 2022 has created a strong impetus for bilateral relations.
Many high-level exchanges and contacts have taken place recently.
Economic and trade cooperation continues to be a bright spot.
Regarding investment, in the first 11 months of this year, China invested 3.06 billion USD in Vietnam, ranking fourth and accounting for 18.7% of the total newly licensed foreign investment capital, but leading in the number of projects.
Cooperation in other fields such as tourism, culture, and education continues to make progress.
The Vietnam – China land border maintains peace and stability.
