On the morning of April 13, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province, said that the above F1 cases are all workers of Samsung Company located in the area.
`Patient 262 traveled by bus to pick up workers, taking a different bus every day, so the number of people involved was large,` Ms. Giang said.
Today, the entire factory where ‘patient 262’ works, including 20 people, has been medically quarantined, other Samsung Company factories in Bac Ninh are working normally.
A media representative of Samsung Bac Ninh Company informed that in Yen Phong (Bac Ninh), the company has three independently operating factories, which are screen, battery and phone factories.
On the afternoon of April 13, Mr. Tu Quoc Hieu – Director of the Bac Giang Department of Health said that because this province is located next to Bac Ninh, he proactively reviewed, quarantined and took test samples from workers working in the same department.
`We have verified 10 F1 cases, 64 F2 cases are residents of Bac Giang, currently working at Samsung Bac Ninh,` Mr. Hieu said.
Ha Loi village, Me Linh is currently under medical quarantine.
Patient 262`, male, 26 years old, worker at Samsung company in Bac Ninh. On March 27, he had close contact with his uncle, `patient 254` in Cho hamlet, Ha Loi village, Me Linh commune.
From March 31 to April 6, he had a dry cough, felt feverish and did not receive any treatment;
After working at Samsung Company, he returned home and only had family contact.
On April 11, the patient’s sample was taken for testing, and a day later it was found to be positive for nCoV.
The number of infected cases in Ha Loi village increased to 10. They were recorded as patients 243, 250, 253, 254, 257, 258, 259, 260, 261 and 262. Currently, the entire village with 11,077 people belonging to 2,711 households has been treated.
Vietnam this morning recorded a total of 262 cases, of which 118 people are being treated and 144 people have recovered.
