Le Quang Hoa (bib 92444) is about to finish at VnExpress Marathon Hue 2020. Runner Quang Tri finished first in this race with a record of 2 hours 33 minutes 35 seconds, which is also his personal record.
`I will not follow the professional path,` Quang Hoa told his mother in a decisive voice during the days of rehabilitating his knee injury in 2016. At that time, at the age of 19, the runner from Quang Tri saw the path.
Quang Hoa was born in the land carved into a heart shape on the map of Quang Tri province – Trieu Trung commune, which is tilted towards the sea and is a rare plain of Trieu Phong district.
Right from middle school, the physical education teacher noticed Quang Hoa’s qualities in running.

A serious injury in 2016 gave Quang Hoa time to think and choose a path for the future.
Overloaded in training, Quang Hoa was continuously injured in 2016. At the beginning of the year, back pain caused him to interrupt his training and could only do gentle recovery exercises.
When there was time to stop after years of being caught up in the training and competition cycle, Quang Hoa saw his direction more clearly.
Growing up in a difficult family, outside of school, Quang Hoa had to go to the fields to help his parents.

Following Quang Tri’s footsteps, there were many factors that made him decide not to pursue professional sports.
Not giving up and persevering are the beliefs that Hoa carries with her during the recovery process.
From here, the name Le Quang Hoa became familiar in running events.

Pursuing a sports career while also being a student at Da Nang University of Architecture keeps Quang Hoa very busy.
As class president of a class in the Faculty of Construction, Quang Hoa also participates in the Executive Committee of the Faculty Youth Union and is busy with school work.
In normal times, Quang Hoa still manages well with such a training and study schedule.
Five years after deciding to give up his dream of playing professionally, Quang Hoa is confident that he is on the right path.
Quang Hoa represented a community that ran back to his hometown of Quang Tri to do charity work during the storm and flood in the last month of October and early November 2020.
Currently, Quang Hoa aims to help people with the same passion for running to expand the running community in Vietnam, and from there, develop volunteer programs through running.
